Avoid fines & fees – follow these rules (see the WB Site www.abcwua.org for fines and fee schedules, more details on these rules, and how to apply for an exception:

Sprinkler Watering Times - April -- October - no watering between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm
November -March - only water between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm (this helps reduce freezing)
No fugitive water - Do not let water run off of your property.

Be aware of:

Conservation Charges - If you use more than 3 times your winter average from April through October then your water commodity charge per unit of water used will be 50% higher for units used above that level.  The charge doubles the regular commodity charge for use over 4 times the winter average.

Irrigation Budgets - If you have an irrigation only meter then you receive an annual budget based on the number of irrigated square feet that you have.  This is typically 35” or about 21 gallons per square foot per year.  If you are over budget the charge is 50% of the commodity rate. If youare higher than 150% over budget your charge is double the community rate.
